I just finished reading the classic "Little Women." And I think it's such a good book. The girls in the book are such darling characters: the tomboyish Jo, the prim and proper Meg, shy Beth and restless Amy. I loved the whole lot, including Laurie. And I also think it's nice that Meg does care for Mr. Brooke in the end. ![]()
I think Jo does care for Laurie in a more-than-friend manner if she weren't so cynical about being romantic and sentimental.

I LOVE 'Little Woman' i read it so many times growing up, i have also read the sequel 'Good Wives' but ofcourse its not as good as the book. I also got the movie on video one christmas-i watched it so much the tape went fuzzy, i love it becuase its got loads of great actress and actors; Susan Saradon, Clare Danes, Winnona Ryder, Christian Bale, samantha Mathis, and a cute Kirsten Dunst!
If you liked it, i would reccomend any of Jane Austens novel, although there set in a different centry the womane simillar, particulalry in 'Pride & Prejudice'. I've only read 'Pride & Prejudice' and 'Emma' but i have also seen 'Sense & Senseibility' and 'Mansfield Park' there great, you should check them out (Y)
